THE 2016 STAMPS ISSUES PROGRAM

The program of stamps issues during 2016 is containing 42 postage stamps consacred to political, sportive and cultural events and themes in order to make better known patrimonial, civilisational, natural and touristic Tunisia’s wealth. The themes are the following:

COMMUNICATED TO THE PAINTERS

In the context of the completion of the annual emission of postage stamps under the year 2016, the Tunisian Post informs designers and painters that it organizes a competition for the selection of models for use in the emissions of the stamps according to themes, patterns and periods specified in the table below

* Designers and painters may use different techniques to design models according to their choices and their techniques.
However projects must include, in addition to the face value, the following information in Arabic and French:

  • Tunisian Republic.
  • The theme of the stamp.
  • The word : " Postes".

Applicants may propose one or more projects for each theme issue.
The offers are contained in an inner envelope on which are inscribed the name and address of the candidate.
The outer envelope must bear either the name of its owner or his signature and must be marked "not open" indicating the theme of the show.


Any bid not meeting the above requirements will be refused.
Envelopes containing the offers are sent by postal mail or rapid-mail to the following address:

Prices decreed with the painters preceded by emission:
4 prices are decreed with the models preceded for each postage stamp. The amount of these prices is fixed as follows:

  1. Premier Prix    1500 Dinars
  2. Deuxième Prix    900 Dinars
  3. Troisième Prix    600 Dinars  
  4. Quatrième Prix    400 Dinars

The prices can not be granted in whole or in part if the projects received are not satisfactory.
